The FST Media conferences are becoming quite a habit for ClearPoint. Well, why not when we’ve got an all-singing, all-dancing stand that packs up neatly and can be taken anywhere? This time, we took the stand to Melbourne for the FST Media conference on Technology and Innovation: The Future of Superannuation. Quite apart from the stand and the interest it generates (perhaps the prize draw of a bottle of Dom Perignon 2004 helped a little); these conferences are great events for us. They deliver high-calibre speakers who provide a real barometer on the state of the industry and the themes of the moment for those businesses managing superannuation funds.
Still of great importance are data, analytics, insights and big data. Member engagement is always up for discussion. Interestingly though, social media is no longer a key focus whereas mobile is still a hot topic. One of the panellists said that she thought that there was room for a new player to enter the market with a data management platform. Ahem, enter ClearPoint. That’s what we happen to be really good at. Time to focus on telling the world? Watch this space.
